We are lucky to be situated in a peaceful inland location filled with ancient villages and hill-top hamlets. The area boasts over 100 castles many of which can be visited and explored today.
This green landscape is crisscrossed with hiking and biking routes. These include the ancient Via Francigena renowned by pilgrims throughout the centuries. The trail extends from Canterbury in England down through to Rome.
